What is the DTV visa?

The Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) is a long-stay visa introduced for remote workers, freelancers, and digital nomads. It allows stays of up to 180 days per entry, is valid for 5 years, and can be renewed by leaving and re-entering Thailand.

Am I eligible?

Generally, yes if you work remotely for a company or clients outside Thailand, or you’re coming to Thailand for a Muay Thai course, cooking class, or similar soft-power activity. See The DTV Visa page for the full eligibility breakdown.

How long does the process take?

Most applications are submitted within 1-2 weeks of us receiving your documents, and Thai embassy processing typically takes an additional 5-10 business days. Timelines vary by embassy and season, so we’ll give you a realistic estimate during your consultation.

Which package should I choose?

The Consultation is a good starting point if you’re not sure you qualify or want a second opinion. The Full Service is our most popular option and covers the entire application end to end. The Private Client is designed for more complex cases, such as applications with dependents or additional support after arrival. See Services & Fees for full details.

Can I bring my partner or children?

Yes, dependents can be included on a DTV visa application. This is handled as part of The Private Client package. Let us know your family situation during your consultation and we’ll confirm what’s needed.

Do you guarantee visa approval?

No one can guarantee a visa outcome, that decision sits with Thai immigration authorities. What we guarantee is that your application will be complete, accurate, and submitted correctly. If something in your situation makes approval unlikely, we’ll tell you upfront before you pay for a service that can’t help you.

What documents will I need?

This depends on your specific eligibility route, but generally includes proof of remote employment or income, bank statements, and a valid passport. We’ll send you a tailored checklist once we understand your situation.

Do I need to be in Thailand to apply?

No. The DTV is applied for through a Thai embassy or consulate, most commonly in your home country or country of residence. We work with clients wherever they’re currently based.

How do I pay, and what currency?

All packages are priced in Thai Baht and paid securely online when you check out through our Services & Fees page.

Is my information kept confidential?

Yes. Your documents and personal information are handled directly by your case team and are never shared beyond what’s required for your application.
